Assignment 1 of Winter Quarter 2012

So it has been quite a while since I have posted ANYTHING. I blame Christmas and Thanksgiving. So, without further adu, I present you with my first assignment in Photographic Design (my Monday class). The object of the assignment was to focus on point, and leave the image up to interpretation. Enjoy!

This was my teachers favorite out of the whole bunch. So much so, that he wanted to show it to other classes and recommended that I print it and put it in my portfolio :-)


 I got some pretty good feed back on this one. 
 Snowy day in Seattle. Denny Way was closed and fellow Seattle-ites decided to take to the streets with a vengeance...and sleds!

 I apologize for losing some of the detail in Mr. Arrys face. The JPG format smooshed the black pixels together.  
 Zoom in and read the sign. :-)

    I am a real fan of B&W photos and yours are really interesting! Nice work. I am really impressed with some of the subject matter especially the first 4. Keep posting your photos! Love John
