The Jenn Cave...?

Jared and I went shopping this past weekend because I needed to get some supplies for school. While we were out I figured we should stop by the store since I was out of beer. Unfortunately for me, they remodeled the store which led me to wander the entire premises looking at all the new-ness that is Fred Meyer. While the remodel took me on a journey around the store, instead of just "popping" in and getting beer, we ended up getting some dry erase boards, a couple of trapper keepers, one for Jared one for Jade, an awesome pencil box (for me for school) and a video game; Resident Evil: Archives (which sucks). Oh yeah, and my beer :-)

So, since I have now acquired three new dry erase boards I set up the spare bedroom with my computer, external hard drive, speakers and a cute little lamp. It really does look like a small office/crafty space, since my sewing machine is on the drawing desk right next to me. All I need do now, um, is put a friggin wall up. "Why? Where is your wall?" you might be wondering. Well, there IS a wall there, but no board, just 2x4 and insulation with some plastic to keep the "itch" out. Cozy <3  We still have a $50 to Lowe's from the wedding, but we also just brought home a wood burning stove to save on money through the winter. So, do I get the pipes to hook up the stove? Or, do I get a few sheets of 1/2" sheetrock and finish a small corner of the office/craft/storage room? Decisions, decisions.

Oh right, and I promised pictures, didn't I? Well, I suck. I shall get one, or two, maybe even three published on this baby tomorrow after work. I'm not telling what they are going to be of, it is a surprise! You will just have to come back and see :-)

Lots of love and stay healthy!!

Back at it

Well, my one week break is over and I am back in school and STILL loving it! I was able to get my application for the BIA Yurok Grant in this week so I can go full-time instead of part-time (if I don't it is going to take forever to graduate). The only issue I might find is that going to school full-time is going to significantly decrease my already decreased work time...making it even harder to pay bills. Things will work out.

Speaking of work, I am still planning on getting a part-time job, somewhere...? I have been told that waitressing would be a good one to have since getting tips could make it feel as though i'm not getting paid minimum wage :-)

Well, getting back from break - going to listen to my teacher lecture and then bus it to work! I will post again later today or tomorrow because I haven't posted pictures in a long time. So, stay healthy until our next meeting!!

Mucho Love-o!
